So I installed 2 new Ecobee's where I had dumb thermo stats before. I had 5 wire coming in but com wasn't being used. So I wired them up. Went into the attic and looked the wiring for the air handler it was all messed up. So I rewired that, seems rather simple. Where I am at is my heater turns on, works great, fan, same, when its time to cool fan turns on but the outside AC doesn't. The two condenser wires I have hooked up I put the red into the Y1/Y2 with the yellow (pretty sure thats right). I put the White into Com (pretty sure thats right). When AC is on I used my multimeter and I get 28V between the two, pretty sure thats good. I went outside to the condenser the white and red and plugged into a X+ and X- slot on the board. I tested that voltage and when the ac is "on" they are getting the 28V. But of course nothing is actually happening. the 240 is coming in no problem. Now below the X+ and X- is another bank of plugs that say Y1, Y2, Dhum etc. etc. Should I be plugged into those instead?

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

How is it DIY, everything is working per specifications lol. Was just looking to save myself 2 hours of trouble shooting. I'll fix it myself, just figured this was an actual forum to help with problems. I can see this isn't that kind of place.
Actually kinda funny just asked chat-gpt and it gave me a few ideas I didn't consider.

With no equipment listed, we can only ASS-U-ME and that is not the thing to do.

"How is it DIY"- YOU rewired everything and Did It Yourself.
