Would a motorized damper be a good idea?

I want opinions on the following feature that could be incorporated into a humidifier.

What is your feedback if a motorized damper could be installed on the Summer/Winter damper allowing the damper to cycle open or closed on a call for humidity.

Or would you rather rely on the homeowner to be responsible for opening and closing it manually during each season change.

Just sell a power humidifier with outdoor sensor. That's all we use. By the time you add the cost of the damper it will probably be close to the price of a powered model anyway.
