Yes I was a computer DIYer and knew what a worthless slug I was and still bothered anyone I could for DIY advise. I hang my head in shame. I am stuck with an IP provider that is my friend who we have done a lot of work for. He says "Sure Frank I'll be taking care of your ofc network system"
TWO yrs Ive been at the end of his long list while he spends large amounts of the yr bldg systems in the Virgin Islands.
While on a boiler call I spot a Pro working on the customers PC system.
I said to the Geek Squad agent as they're referred, You aint leavin town until you look at mine. He came to the ofc, sat down and hammered right through it. Then proceded to show me how screwed up my wireless system is and suggested what to tell my friend mr no show what he has found and it's not my computer... as I was normally told and "You need a new computer"
I contacted my buddy and 20 min later his guy shows up with new router and other thingys. Now Im cruising fast thanks to a Geek Squad PRO.
As we all know so much of the time it cost a DIYer more after they have attempted to tackle something. His svc cost me the same as 1 blower motor replacement svc call. It also cost me endless hrs trying to fix this POS system before I got him in and getting no where.
Dont be afraid to call a PRO.
