I'm moving to Colorado. we are nit allowed to post prices or discuss them but if I can charge that much for servicing furnaces I could reduce work load by 2/3 and drop back to a one man operation. we had a recent discussion on this topic here not long ago and the consensus seems to be most manufactured homes could use 3 tons minimum. obviously there are many variables like shading and exposure, upgrades, ductwork condition, humidity, etc. regardless of what the manufacture recommends for tonnage a manualj needs to done. the manufacture can not predict exposure and climate. aging is a factor as well. it seems like there might be something else wrong with your system though because a 2 degree difference isn't much. is it at least blowing cold air? try taking temps at the closest registers. does it remove humidity? does it seem to be conditioning at all? did the heat work last season? is this a split system or a packaged unit that sits outside and is connected to the ductwork?
