I want to add an Aprilaire 700 to my Trane XR95 furnace that has a cased A-Coil.
The only place on the supply duct big enough to put the 700 (or any other humidifier) is on the side of the cased A-coil. The dimensions are fine and it looks like there would not be any interference.
Will this location work? Is there any reason the humidifier opening cannot be to the side of the A-coil?
Thanks for your time and consideration.
John
ps - Due to the size of the HVAC closet and location of other items (like the water heater) in it, there are no other locations on the duct to place any humidifier that must go on a vertical duct. There is not enough room to to put one on the return side and no other location on the supply ide - just that one area of the cased coil.
