Tom Tom yes, ipod no, scanner no. But plenty of northern soul and tamla motown CDs along with some rock and reggae, and a few comedian recordings and talking books.

I don't know about anyone else but I average around 200-300 miles a day, most days I do more driving than actually working and I'm very unfit. I could do with a bigger van and put a weight bench in the back and get some exercise.

I have been thinking about picking up a CB radio, but I just don't spend the time on the interstates that I used to.

The 100+ mile drives are far and few between.

I'm right there with ya. Got the iPod, the GPS, and the Sirius satellite radio for the long drives. And when we have the ever rare and elusive stand-by time in the slow season, the laptop computer with mobile broadband comes in handy.

Got the TomTom, iPod Touch (love the free WiFi at McDogfoods), XM Radio (Opie & Anthony!), usually got the day's paper with me (Sudoku at lunch) and if I'm really bored I can play with one of my three cell phones. Before the iPod Touch I used to keep a crappy wifi laptop with me for WAR driving but the iPod is so much sweeter.
