I have yellow jacket gauges which use the standard 1/4 SAE female threads.
I have the LG mini split indoor unit coil out and want to pinpoint the leak by using nitrogen and bubbles, I already used an ultra sonic detector when it was still installed and know the general area.
Just to make this clear, I have the indoor unit coil removed and I can't connect through the service port on the outdoor unit.
My question is, what is the best way to connect my gauges to the flare fittings on the lineset? The line set uses 1/4 and 3/8 male flare fittings.
Thanks for any advice offered here.
