This walk in has been nothing but a headach for me for the past month.
Once in a while it does not shut down and it is 12 degrees in the cooler and all the customers product is frozen.
Everytime I am there EVERYTHING is working ok. Last time, I replaced the thermostat thinking maybe it was not opening and closing the solenoid.
I WAS WRONG.
Got another one of those heated manager calls saying it was frozen again. When i got out there this time the compressor was running. The circuit on the thermostat was OPEN tho. I went up and put gauges on the system to see if it was pumping down the solenoid and I must have touched something. The unit shut down and it was working ok. I said (*&%$#@ and changed the solenoid, filter dryer.
Did all that good stuff. Hopefully it won't happen again. This has to be the problem...unless you guys think it could be something else? Any advice is appreciated.
