There is one thing to keep in mind while theres nothong wrong with booster fans persay..after a number of complaints related to noise..and trust me return trips for complaints quickly remove profit . so alot of us just avoid selling them

I have had them "work" but i think what happens is they fail in short order do to working under extreme static.. which is why we end up going back first comes the noise then the fail.. so yea best case fix duct-work second option is the mini split. last option see if you can find someone who wants to lose on installing boosters.

Okay, so I should just keep calling places until I find one that will do it?

Awe, I wounder why they don't work well and fail so much. Unfortunately, the ductwork can't be fixed in this case. it's all concealed. Cutting open a small spot on the floor to install a fan would already be a big project, let alone redoing the duct runs.

Hmm, you mean high static on the suction side of the fan? Maybe having the fan farther from the register would help?

Any input on this product or this? They are both quiet and good reviews!
There is no placement better than any other. But yea if you gothis route just call around dont be surprised when you have to call several the bigger companies are probably more willing little guys like me have to be more careful
