Coleman has them now twilli?

Wish my luxaire line had them now, but supposed to get really soon.

You will love the mod unit, I have been pushing 2 stage ECM units for as long as they have been out.

Update...

Cancelled the York contractor after discrepancies between salesman and manager and unwillingness to "go the extra mile." Made me real uncomfortable.

So I went to the Rheem contractor. Everything hunky-dory and I feel they'll do an excellent job. Then I'm presented the contract and it's 25-percent higher than discussed! Sorry, but I just don't have the extra money.

So, now I'm back to square one....I can reconsider contractor #3 w/ a Carrier Infinity VS 2-stage, or start calling other contractors if I still want a mod furnace.

This sucks... :(
What do you mean by the eztra mile?

I do not think I have had a customer as for the extra mile when installing a furnace............................? Maybe I just give it!

Sorry, was just trying to be brief, but now I'll elaborate.

Replacing old oil furnace w/ new gas furnace and I wanted the new install to be as small a footprint and neat as possible. When I started discussing the actual installation w/ the manager, he started backtracking, i.e. "oh, no, we'll just mate up w/ the existing ducting" and "hmmmm, wonder how we'll do the condensate pump?" and "No way that 240 circuit is for the blower" (until I turned on the blower and then killed it by throwing the breaker). "Hmmmm....well...never seen that before." There were a number of other little things that caused me to lose confidence.

Contractor #2 went into sufficient detail on how the existing duct tie-in wasn't efficient nor really up to code, and no problem on making it right. Too bad the revised bid came in 25-percent higher. I bet even Twilli wouldn't install a Coleman for 25-percent more. :D
I dont think I have ever seen a 240V Furnace.........cool!
You better junk that thing, the variable speed blower can overcome alot of ducting issues.
