Wondering if anyone else is having Desigo Connectivity issues.

Anyone that uses Apogee AEMs find a solution to the long load time on graphics where things retain COM for a while compared to insight.

You may want this moved to the controls forum. If so, post asking for it to get moved and a moderator may see it and do that for you.

What version of Desigo are you using?
Product version: V4.2

Platform build: 4.0.0121.225

On graphics and loading sub-points, they usually stay in COM for a long time, sometimes for a good 30 min.
This was not a problem when we were running Insight. Granted there's no way to verify how much memory a field panel has remaining, at least not yet.

We have had issue with BACnet and version 4.2 ourselves. If you open WinCCOA console log you'll probably see a lot of BACnet driver errors. I just recently upgraded a site from 2.1 to 4.2 and the network shut down and wouldn't communicate. I had to downgrade to 4.1 to get it to work properly. There is a bug in 4.2 that overloads the bacnet driver and it runs out of resources

It's been a while, but I recall having similar issues with 4.1. We remained on 4.2 for its increased functionality as all our tech's are complaining about how barebones Desigo is compared to Insight.

Desigo was designed with the operator in mind. Insight was a technician tool that was turned into a front-end software. There are a lot of patches for 4.2 but I didn't have any luck with them.

Wow that makes a lot of sense...
The fun part is that as of now, neither the operators or technicians seem too happy. Maybe when it matures past the 'Beta testing in production' on customer sites phase it will make one or the other happy....
