CONTEST!! Who is the most helpful Professional Member?

Which Professional Member is the most helpful? It can be from them helping homeowners in the AOP section, or in other areas helping other Pros or non-Pros. We just want to recognize that helpful Professional Member for their efforts.

Here are the rules:

1) Only Professional Members are eligible to win
2) All members of HVAC-Talk may enter one nomination. That includes "Registered" and non-pros. Homeowner friends, you are welcome to nominate as well.
3) Admins and moderators may vote (nominate), but are not eligible to win. Committee members are eligible to win.
4) Each member may only nominate one person-one time

What do they win? A free one-year Plus Membership. Meaning, no ads. If the winning member already has a Plus Membership, they can extend it by a year, or they may pay it forward and donate to another member of their choice.

Methodology? Simple, the Professional Member who gets the most nominations in this thread wins. No beauty contest, no backroom counts, it will be right here for all to see.

Contest will run for one week. It starts now, and next Friday night we will close this thread to new replies and we will tally the votes (nominations). We might ask some of you Pro Members to do that for us. If you are interested in tallying votes, please message me. Then we'll have a separate thread to congratulate the winner.

And, GO!

Great idea, one problem there are so many for different reasons who does one pick. Trying to figure thus one out may make my head hurt.

This very likely will be an ongoing contest….. Possibly monthly or quarterly. So you will have multiple chances to nominate your favorite members.

Why would you make it visible for everyone to see and not make the response private so us impressionable newbies like me at this site who don’t know any better who will just tag along with a more seasoned Techs/Owners/Contractors here especially someone who has been on this site many more years than others….

But hey,….What do I know, I’m only 73, but IMO,….I think you should make the answers private then announce your winner(s)

I agree. But this is probably intended to be a way to get us to say nice things about each other. But instead this is about to get ugly when we start denouncing each other. "RepairGuy asks a lot of unhelpful questions. Nobody pick him."

Most helpful is way too broad.
I can think of at least a dozen members that, at one time or another, filled that description.
