My daughter has just completed my website and added a link to the HVAC-Talk site. I was shocked when I saw the line "Software bulletin board for HVAC contractors, home-owners, do-it-yourself enthusiasts to use for heating and air conditioning concerns." because I know this is not a DIY site, but this line refers to it as such. I asked her where this information came from. Her answer: "I Googled "HVAC-Talk" and this is what it said the site was about."
So, I Googled, too, just to see for myself. Sure enough it said what it said, and yet site rule #2 is 2. Do-It-Yourself (DIY) - not here.
No wonder some people are confused when they get trounced about DIY.
