Note that GA does NOT recommend this:

Was in a guy's house many years ago...
Guy had drilled a hole in the slab of the basement and stuck the condensate line into the hole...
Said they do that up in Chicago all the time and nothing happens.

Just get any length between 10-30’. Make one loop around the reservoir and the rest can go around the vinyl tubing or something. Very unlikely it would ever freeze in the pump since the condensate is warm as it is, but just in case there’s a failure, it doesn’t make things more complicated. Definitely make sure the outlet side of the vinyl/drain is heated though. I’ve seen tubing freeze outside and cause it to back up to the pump.
That happens as far south as Atlanta in the winter... :)
