I have a compressor model #ZR57KC-PFV-230 and have an ohm reading of C to S=1.2. C to R=.5 S to R=1.6. Bad compressor? Waiting on a repair wiring kit.

What makes you think it is bad? What kind of issue are you having with the unit?

I have always been told by my trained as long as c-s and c-r equals the s-r ohms then the windings in the compressor are good. It's when that number doesn't add up or you get infitnite resistance (unless it's on internal overload) or if you got short to ground.

I'm going to be following this post just for my own knowledge.

Back to the original poster was wondering I'm now also curious if the level of resistance matters or as long as the numbers add up your okay?
