I do not see this model listed on the HL dealer website. Are you sure of the model #? You can contact HL Tech services for full info. on your unit.

In general, convection fans do not work well with see thru fireplaces even when the unit is designed for a fan. The heat transfer is poor and these units usually do not balance the heat btw rooms well.
