nytrane has a good point... You need to figure out if rebooting the PC is fixing the problem, or if rebooting the BCU is fixing it. If the PC fixes it then you need to make sure the PC is not shutting off your network port. As for the BCU I have seen this with the BMTW when the standard or extended memory sticks are going bad, if this is the case eventually rebooting will not help.
