I have a copeland kamb-007e-caa-800 compresor in a freezer box. The box is very loud w/a vibration. I slid out the comp. unit and set it on the concrete floor, everything is quiet now. The box is warm now, but had normal temp. when I got the call. With a 40* box I'm running 280psi and 25 on low side (404a). The oil sight glass is completly full, but is uniformly aerated(full of bubbles). I'm in institutional hvac/r so I don't do the "r" very often, so I've forgotten much of what I knew about it. Is this sight glass supposed to be full to the top? Is there a problem w/the frothy oil? There's no port on the pump to check the oil pres., but while the comp. is vibrating, it is not loud, no metalic noises. What should I look for. Thanks.
