Giving any thought on velcro strapped sensors? The clamps are OK but they tend to get knocked off or just in the way in cramped areas. I like the stretchy type that comes with the iconnect probes. May be a cooper product, not sure. That kit looks awesome!

PS, are the gauges cooper compatible by any chance? Could come in handy in a pinch if they were.

I'm thinking I'm going to pick up a set of these but am wondering if I can use the standard cooper thermistor probes.

Anyone know?

At one time I was under the impression that Bluetooth wireless temp probes were coming out to use with the digital gauges. Has this been scrapped and being replaced by a wireless module that the wired probes will plug into now?

Would rather see this. I'm full up on wired temp sensors.

When you add a battery and a wireless radio, you add a lot of thermal mass and weight. If you attach this directly to the sensor (the way several of these other clamps are doing), you end up with inaccurate and slow measurements. We did consider this, and worked on it for some time, but the reality of physics got in the way.

Our goal was to make a fast-response, accurate, and repeatable temperature sensor... and due to the physics involved, it was necessary to remove all the mass and weight from the sensor itself. I hate wires, too, but I'm not sure I could ask you to pay an extra $500 (a piece!!!) just to get all of this accuracy and fast response in a tiny sensor without added mass.
