Well, each of us reaches that point of changing phones...
I have been using a trusty iphone 3G (not a 3GS) for 2.5 years now... it has worked without a flaw... other than being dreadfully S L O W (and it needs to be re-booted about once a week... the software seems to get scrambled easily now-a-days).
I have been looking at either the new Samsung Note (AT&T), or waiting for a while longer for the newest iphone (the current 4S screen is just too small).
One of the major features I want is:
Each evening plug the phone into a cable to my desktop, and sync:
Contacts,
Calendar,
Notes,
Pictures (to a cell phone picture file)
(and maybe other things in the future)
With automatically update and phone charging; I would prefer this happen without the phone shutting off... as I like the phone to stay on 24/7 to receive messages.
So far, I have not found the way to accomplish this sync protocal with an Android phone... my iphone used to do this through i-tunes... but seems to not want to anymore.
Can anyone shed light on how I can do these tasks?
Note: I would prefer to NOT use the cloud for this... rather do it ALL by hardwire between my phone and desktop.
THX in advance for any help folks would like to post.
