Bigger is not better. Question why he's going bigger? Odds are your duct system can't support bigger - they're usually undersized as it is.

We sell Rheem & American Standard. I'd rather have American Standard. Made in USA, has compressor protection high & low pressure switches, swept wing fan blades for lower sound ratings. If I were quoting you, prices for a RA13 and 4A7A would be about the same. All depends upon how the local dealer prices and what kind of prices he can get from his suppliers.
