Hi Guys,
Having a bit of an issue with an older unit not cooling the house. Its and older Borg-Warner R22 system (non-TXV)
outdoor ambient temp 64.4
65 PSI suction (low side) = 38 saturation
44 deg suction line temp
= 6deg superheat (slightly over charged)
165psi head pressure (high side)
Indoor ambient
Return air 73.5
Supply air 53.1
=TD 20.4 (working ok? I think it is)
I'm getting 15.7 at the registers but the house remains warm. Could it be cause by the evap fan not being strong enough? or is this unit too small?
