i currently have a 5 year old gas fired 80% 2 stage hotair furnace. it is working fine, but i have the option to pick up a brand new 95% goodman model number GMH950704CX for less than $200.my average cost of therms is about $2 a therm. i am wondering about how long would it take to recoupe my money? is 15% that much different? the furnace also has a 4 speed multi speed blower compared to my current 2 speed. any thoughts would be appreciated
about how long to recoupe cost of upgrading my 80% to a new 95% furnace?
