Pricing questions are not allowed at this forum.

However, the so called "sealer" statement interests me. There is no acceptable so called "sealer" that can be put in the refrigerant circuit to seal up leaks from the inside of the system. Not sure if that is what your contractor has in mind but any such repair as that is a NO GO. Don't let him do it.

Leaks are usually brazed up using a torch. We don't call that procedure sealing. We call it brazing. I consider an HVAC contractor who fails to use the correct term for a repair as somewhat suspect.
