Hello, I have a 134a can tap (t valve), think the thread is 1/2 acme male? I want to hook it up to my 1/4 gauges. So I think I need a 1/2 acme female to 1/4 sae male. Can someone confirm? Also if you had a part number, like yellow jacket xxxxx, that would be most helpful. Thx!

What are you wanting to add R-134A to?

Back in the day, Automotive R-12 containers used the same hose connections as R-22 at the single serving 1lb can tap connector.

That changed when Auto’s went to new R134a gas and residential/light commercial bldg HVAC began the move to R410a.

In an effort to idiot proof things, automobile connections became asymmetrical and color coded using quick-coupler low loss connectors were introduced as standard on autos. At the can tap, things were more complicated as cheap throwaway single-use service “kits” populated store shelves. Can taps vary at the hose connection as a result.

I guess this is a long-winded way of saying it depends.

I suggest you hit the automotive tools aisle at your fav parts house to find what you seek.

Thanks I couldn't find anything locally. found this on amazon, should do the FJC 6015 R134A Refrigerant Tank Adapter
Just trying to recharge a old freezer, don't need a full jug of r134a sitting around, so I just went the walmart can route haha. Hope it fits the T I have, they should have just made the damn fittings 1/4 flare, but I guess they have to try and idiot proof everything with unique connectors.
