After reviewing what I "thought" was an exhaust air grill in the previous post, I discovered that it was indeed a return grill back into the same supply system. Please forgive me for the mis-information. I see xray and then I assume "exhaust"
I could not find in any of the IMC's 06 & 09 any requirements for xray room exhaust. It seems that in my previous jobs that the exhaust specified was a "preference" instead of a "code".

i have worked fore many on hospital hvacr and you do have to have so many air exchanges in that rm '
Same here IIRC. It's been about 3 years since the last one I did. I also remember that the engineer had us install a CRAC unit for the MRI room.
