Lots of causes for high head. The best remedy is a qualified tech on scene to resolve the problem.
 
Save
the condenser coil is clogged with dirt, cottonwood, or grass and needs to be cleaned or it could be overcharged causing the compressor to over heat use superheat to make sure you have the correct charge.
 
If you build an enclosure around or over the outdoor unit, some of the air will be recirculated. This will cause high head pressure.

Overcharge, especially with an undersized metering device.
