Thats just weird,.. maybe he chose to die now knowing that it could be the only way to get stem cell reaserch money.
I doubt it. Seems self defeating. Although he felt like "checking out" shortly after his accident, he rallied and went on to live as amazing a life as a paralyzed man could. I find that highly inspiring.

I also hope the end result of stem cell research proves to serve the hope that Christopher Reeve sought.

He had bedsores that got fatally infected. When you are paralyzed, the body's immune system is shot to hell. We'll never know the pain the man never showed in public.

I bumped into him and his wife at a gala last year. Big man. Surprised to see him bald. His wife was tall also.

I had the whole Superman costume when I was a kid. Jumped off the top of my neighbors garage with it on. Superman's head musta been lighter than mine, cause mine bounced off the ground :D

He also didn't get a great big assed knot on his head!!

I try to ignore pagan holidays Dice, you know that.
Hypothetically speaking of course, worshiping Goodman products may be a pagan ritual.

Back to Superman, I remember a Bugs Bunny Cartoon made just after WWII.

At end of this cartoon Bugs was about to be annihilated by Yosemite Sam and his horse. Who had somehow gained Superman powers, with the S and everything. Just then Bugs shows up with a Marine, Yosemite, and Horse, yield to what Bugs explains is a real Superman.

Ain’t it the truth.
