I wont say they're my favorite movies today

but the movies that really blew me away on the big screen were

Rocky, Star Wars, Jurrasic Park, Dances With Wolves, The Sixth Sence.

Movies that scared the S#!t out of me on the big screen were Jaws, Amityville Horror, Nightmare on Elm Street.

Most enjoyable movie to watch 100 times or so.

Bob and Doug's Strange Brew, or Fast Times.

I've seen alot of worst movies but I must have blocked them out.

We rent a lot of DVD's and I see a lot of good movies, but I seldom remember the damn names. I like action, but with a lot of twists and a complex plot.

One of my favorites is "Ronin" with Robert DeNiro. We also loved "Bandits" with Bruce Willis, sort of action comedy.

We also buy some DVD's but have found that the only ones worth buying are good comedies because you can watch them over and over. Our favorite comedy is Notting Hill.

Over on the Scuba Board that I am also addicted to, the big topic of discussion is the new movie "Open Water"

This movie was entertaining but if you scuba dive you would understand a lot of improbabilities in the technicial parts. I have never been on a dive boat where they do not call a role after every dive, for instance. Plus if you are diving on a reef a divemaster would be down there with that many people to make sure they stayed in a group.

Plus all the morning quarter-backs were on the Board saying "They should have had a DiverAlert". This is a air horn that works from your tank pressure.

It was an okay movie but wait to rent it.

longest day ,shawshank redemption, High road to China ,IN search of private ryan, ALWAYS ,HOOSERS, ....but then I guess my very favorite is A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT.
WORST - MUCH to do abot nothing

Best movie of all time is the kind of movie that you could see one hundred times in your lifetime and never get tired of watching. And the winner is.. THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
The worst is Police Academy 3. Or 90% of whats on your local Blockbuster Video shelves.

How Bout

The World According to Garp as a pile of crap movie?

Best(s) include titles: Clerks, Airplane, Breakfast Club, Roadwarrior, Nightmare on Elm Street, several "Bond" flicks, Star Wars, Christmas Vacation(National Lampoon), and too many other stupid-a$$ comedy films to mention.
Worst: Sooooooo many to choose from. Some contenders for the title were prequels and sequels to my favorites. However, the lucky winner for me is: "Made in America" starring Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson. Gotta be worst movie ever made.

I don't know how some of you picked Scarface as a favorite movie I couldn't finish watching it.

The absolute worst movie ever made is called White Apache starring Captain Kirk himself (William Shatner) he was young and right out of Canada in the late 50's. It is worth watching just to say you did it.
Another film I almost guarantee none of you has ever seen The Night Porter sirca1973 or 1974. It was the only time I have ever been to a theatre and not one sound was made during the film. When it was over every person in the theater simultaneously said I am glad that was over. We all sat quietly thinking every one else was totally enthralled. What made it worse you had to wait in line for two showings to get in.

First time I saw Stars Wars it was at a German theatre and I only understood a few words just got to enjoy the special effects very cool.

Marko! My man! Right on! When a Hackman movie comes out, I will go to great lengths to see it.

Babs, on the other hand, is a total jerk and totally lacks in common sense.
