Trane Model Numbers?

Can anyone direct me to a place where all of the Trane RTU model numbers live? I am trying to understand what they mean. I am new to this site and believe I may have missed something while surfing. I haven't called Trane, but their site has not helped me find info on their RTUs built in the 1990's

unless you have the IOM, you are not going to find it. too many unit types over the years. what is your complete model number and maybe we can help.

D: Downflow
120: 10 Tons, Standard Efficiency
C: Major Design Sequence
4: 460/60/3
0: ? (a description is not listed)
C: Downflow Economizer and Oversize Motor
C: Minor Design Sequence
A: Service Digit (i don't know exactly what this means)

Trane Model Numbers

Trane RTU

:confused:Jayguy...what can you tell me about Trane RTU model # SXHEC9040E76AD8D3D01GGNRTX? How many compressors & what interface module should it have? Any additional info you can provide would be great!

Chiller Guy,

There were only 26 numbers for the model # on the nameplate for the unit. I understand there should be 36 so why would there only be 26 on the nameplate? Also, any idea how many compressors this unit will/should have?

Going from memory I beleive it has 2 circuits with 3-15 ton comps each for a total of 6. These should be Trane Scroll compressors.
As to the short m# I cannot give you an answer but am sure some one will.

And tell jayguy to stay away from my girlfriend!

I have a Trane heat pump TWJ724A100A0 on a property and I need to know its cooling tonnage and heating BTU. Can't find anything about it anywhere and hope someone here can help. Thanks!
