I don't understand why it worked perfectly for 3 years and now all of a sudden it does not work when supposedly everything checks out? Temperature are similar and the way we use it has not changed. The filter is the same type and clean as in new. The coils are all clean. Guess the HVAC guys are going to dance around the answer to this.

I only need a few measurements.
Indoor dry bulb temperature
Indoor wet bulb temperature
Outside temperature
Suction pressure
Suction line temperature
Liquid line pressure
Liquid line temperature
Return air static
Supply static
Indoor blower volts and amps
Condenser fan voltage and amps
Compressor volts and amps
All as compared to data tags

I record this on every service ticket.

Thank you, ksefan! I will have to pass this on to the HVAC tech. Apparently, the tech did not do an adequate job checking during the service call. This is over my head. I was trying to avoid having to educate myself in something that we pay professional people for. It seems nearly everything a person calls on professionals for, these days, is inadequate.

Remember, newby1!, that often we get what we pay for. If you pay little, you will extremely likely get little. If you pay more, you might also get little, but your chances of a better outcome should go up.

No guarantees, it is about managing probabilities.
