Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the site and not an AC guy but mechanical. I cleaned the outside unit of my shop AC and it was completely clogged up, I bought the property last year and they had paperwork that cleaning was just done. So, I was thinking the A coil must be filthy too. so i half way removed the front panel (it has the copper tubing running out of the front. It looks like the A coil will need to be accessed from the sides. It looks like there are 3 walls connected with each other going around the rest of the A coil and not an easy way to take it off. here are the details of the Air handler
Janitrol Air Conditioning by Goodman Manufacturing Corp
Model # UE-49 Serial #: 8401000060 Part # 15343-36 (All of that was on the front tag of the Air handler.
So a couple of things. I am looking for any documentation at all for this thing?
Second is, I am trying to clean that A coil and can't figure out how to get to the sides of the A coil, any suggestion from anyone?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Wes
