I have been getting these T026 and T027 alarms. I am pretty sure it is a little low on freon just want to verify with yall. The only think i not sure of is do i need to add some oil to it. Circuit a i can not see the oil in the sight glass though . Thanks for any help . I attache the pic of the reading form my I-vu system

How do you know you need refrigerant?

I only see part of the data needed to arrive to that answer.

Put some meat on the bone if you want help.

No offense meant but I'm wondering how often you have worked on a chiller.
Have you read the manual?

The EXV position is under 60% operation can be anywhere between 40% and 60% normally being towards the 40% end. Over 60% would be classed as low on refrigerant. All these checks including subcool are done at 100% load and as close to your chiller setpoint variations of water flow including condenser flow can vary the subcool. With the readings your given the low oil pressure problem is not charge related.

have you looked into the things people mentioned?

this is 134a right? by your temp drop you have way to much flow or low refrigerant. By the condenser temp rise its low. You're at 100% load with a 4 deg temp rise on the condenser. I doubt the pumps are flowing 3 times what you need so low on charge. I need to see a pt chart to see what the super heat is.

Low refrigerant will reduce oil return with can make it trip the low level alert. How much experience do you have working on chiller?
