If you can use a ruler there are on line sites that will run the #’s for you. At least it puts you in the ball park.
I looked at one load form on the web last night. Was a little confusing as far as window and glass door inputs, the back of my home (south) has 20 ft of sliding glass door panels.

Which manufacturer is it that doesn't offer 0.5 ton increment sizing of condensing units?

All of the ductwork was resized when the present heat pump (Carrier 38YRA) was installed 23 years ago. I can honestly say I do not recall if a load calc. was done at the time. I will be asking for one to be done before any unit is selected for the new installation. I was just surprised when I saw that a manufacturer did not offer units in .5 ton increments.
I do appreciate all your input. I have spent a lot of time reading on this site, and have learned a lot about heat pumps, installers (the good and the not so good), and that every install is unique in it's own, no two the same.

That sounds like a cold supply temperatures for a 78 room temperature.

3 degrees in 2.5 hours in the heat of the day doesn’t sound bad. Did it start to cycle then. If so what is the cycle time.

Started at 78'F,
Outside temp 89'F with 58% humidity,
it took unit 2 1/2 hours to drop temp to 75'F.

Outside temp 90'F with 58% humidity.
partly cloudy if it makes a difference.

My duct outlet temps running 50 - 52 degrees.
At 90'F +, it should not be able to reduce the temperature.

Seems a Little Oversized to me At-The-Moment.

Hope you all had a good Memorial day. Let me know if I need to give any more info. Have not heard from the dealer I contacted last week for a estimate.
