Does anyone know of a immersion temperature sensor for a 1/8" (small) pete's plug. I have had no luck in finding one. 10K type 2 thermistor is my preference but not critical.

You could try a contact sensor in a pinch.

You could strap a contact sensor to the pipe underneath the insulation. Use thermal paste. This isn't the best method of sensing water temperature, but it does work.

This would get you by in a pinch...give you time to find a better solution.

Pete's plugs are designed for pressure and temperature. Usually used for pressure readings, Petersen designed the originally to be used with a normal dial thermometer.
That being said. I don't know why you couldnt just insert a "K" Type insertion thermocouple from any meter manufacturer and make it work.
Good Luck

Its poly pipe, besides there's no room for the strap-on sensor. Too many bends.

I thought about the thermocouple, but I will have to get an amplifier for that because my controllers (Distech) don't read millivolts accurately. I will look into getting an amp though, that might be my only choice.
