If you look at the attached picture or the below link:

You'll see that I'm wiring my thermostat to my control board.

There are two main cables.

1) The 5 wire thermostat cable going to the thermostat
2) The 2 wire A/C cable

Heres the problem.

I was messing with this and I forgot where the red and white A/C wires should go.

This is a two-stage gas furnace.

The terminals are

R C G W1 W2 Y2 Y1 O HUM

I believe Y2 and Y1 have been jumpered.

The config works for the furnance and fan when the A/C wires are not added.

When I add the A/C wire I keep putting them into the wrong spot and different things happen.

Also, what controls the two stage heat?

Since its low voltage , it might be ok to tell you

Im thinkin that white one your finger is on ( heat ) goes to W1 ( im not sure how your heat works without that hooked up) and those 2 coming from AC unit , well they go to Y2 and C , and color of wire doesnt matter on those

If you have the wires correct everywhere else , it will work , which brings the question, how is it wired everywhere else ?

Moved this to AOP.

Here's the thing with electricity. It doesn't really care what color the insulation it, it follows the conductor regardless of the color of the insulation on it.

This is a bit too much DIY for this board.

That looks like the terminal strip for an AMVC or GMVC. If you have the original book, read it. If not, call the company that installed it and request a copy. It is all in there. There are additional features that you can take advantage of with this furnace that you are not currently using. Dont touch the dip switches on the board unless you are sure of what you are doing.
