Are any manufacturer's VRF fan coils true variable speed?

Can anyone tell me if any manufacturer of variable refrigerant flow systems makes fan coils that are true variable speed?

All specs I can find show 2 or 3 speeds not infinitely variable. Even the ones with DC fan motors that I have found show 3 speeds.
