ugly

well a ugly joint will certinally never leak and giving it is on a r/valve,pretty isnt that critical in my book ,dont get me wrong i like to heat till you get a nice even flow but keeping it cool is whats its all about,

Somebody forgot to tell the tech that just because the brazing rod is 24" long doesn't mean you have to use it all!

I wonder if it was windy that day?
maybe gale force winds to make some of those stringers hanging off of the left port. nothing like doing a rev. valve changeout in the middle of a hurricane.:D But really, if he didn't trash the valve and it doesn't leak it doesn't matter. It just looks poorly on the tech who did it as far as pride in workmanship. who knows he may have been running low on gas for his torch and he barely got it sealed up.

420° stay-brite#8 never looked like that, and doesn't over heat the copper, or valve,

But some old dogs never try new tricks.
