Rental next door has been vacant for a while....moving truck shows up. Then Comcast. This was Adelphia but they went tits up. Still no occupants. So yesterday the cable guy was out. Has this nice orange cable laying in my driveway that goes down my property line. I walked over and explain he pulled his cable 3 feet over on my property and it was in my driveway. I explained that I did not want the follow up crew that puts it in the ground to dig on my property. The last time they did , they knocked my phone and internet system out. So I go to work. Come home and the damn thing is still going down my driveway and they are gone.
So I call Comcast. Comcast does not have a local number like Adelphia did. I am talking to someone far off. But it is the same number you call to start service. I explained all this to the lady on the phone, gave her my address and the one next door and then she said the occupants that started the account would have to call them.
I explained that they are not there. She explained their policy at which point I explained mine. It is there cable, It does not lay flat. It is not mine or my problem and I spoke with their contractor that ignored what I said. If they bury the cable on my land, I am pulling it up. And if is there tomorrow afternoon. I am cutting it because I have cut it to get it off my land.
