Found this at one of my sites today. The wire cutter was removed by the police before I got there. They said it had been welded to the box.

A bag with a few other tools was found in a dumpster a few feet away. I don't think the guy who did this is going to need them. I hope he finds another way to make a living.

It should be code to fill the excess space in that raceway with a bunch of rubber snakes. If the heart attack don't kill you maybe the voltage will. I also think he needed some new panties.

On the bright side...finding him should be easy, his prints are seared into the cutters....

Its just a shame that people are driven to try and steal things like copper wiring from places that are clearly marked as dangerous.

Around here they steal the ground wires from the substations....and we have had a few instances around here of people being electrocuted by live power wiring in buildings that have no tenants but still have the power on.

Is it just stupid people ???

Its like meth addiction and other forms of drug addiction...... we are bombarded by the various media outlets on what is going to become of you when you get involved with these things yet some folks still get involved.

Damn people around here are now stealing man hole covers off the street.... and they always get caught bringing them into the scrapyard..... yet... a month or so will go by and you will read of another thief getting busted at the scrapyard bringing in more manhole covers......lol

And here I thought that rotten.com was the only such site, nice. Actually I'm not even sure if it still exists I haven't visited that site in years.

I am trying to figure out if these guys (in Texas) were Black before they got fried. They sure are black after, red or orange base ball cap I guess.
