Quick question, this may be normal anyway.

Two-story home with standard Tempstar (80% eff) Furnace and AC.
Air Filter Size is 20x25x1.
I change every 2 months or so.
I use the standard filter (Merv6) that one gets from Home Depot for $4-5/each.
It has a wire mesh on one side (facing the blower). I know I install the filter correctly.

I have a quick question, peeking inside the Air Filter Slot, I notice that the Air Filter is bowed toward the blower, I assume this is normal because air is pulled through the air filter so it bows a bit (like a bow and arrow kind of thing)?
Any advices?

try poly filters. thats not much return air.:.02:

call a pro and have them check total external static pressure
filter bowing? too much restriction or plugged or dirty. replaced. stop using 3M and change your filter monthly.

A merv6 lets plenty of air through. That is not your problem.Your return air SYSTEM is too small. The people that installed your furnace didn't have enough HVAC knowledge to fill a thimble.
You might get some relief if you lowered the speed on the blower but that might screw up your air conditioning performance.
What you need to do is find a lot better HVAC co.
