Was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what to replace the Honeywell W7100A with. Had 2 of them fail, and they are very expensive, as well as difficult to locate, as they are no longer being manufactured.

You have make, model, and serial of the equipment. They can be easily replaced by many different controllers. Just need to see how many stages, utilizing change over, economizer used, and so forth.

If you have the time and space you could check out Kele's. I have done a little checking in the past for the same question and they have sequence modules that will take 0-10 and 4-20 inputs that are pot adjustable. Would need time delays, signal source ect. but the last time I checked an eight output module by itself was about 80 bucks.

I have changed out quite a few in the past 27 of my 37 years of doing this stuff.

Mostly replaced with whatever DDC control system we were installing , built some 1 of a kind replacements as well as factory built units.

Was just pointing out the fact they are still available from 2 of the major across the counter control suppliers in Ontario, but costly.

HVAC Dave what region of Ontario are you located in ?

Honeywell T775L will control up to four stages of cooling, or up to six stages of cooling with a T775S expansion module, or up to six stages of cooling and four stages of heat with two expansion modules.

Thanks for all your responses guys.
Control Man: I'm in the GTA are and I've managed to source a couple of these controllers, but at $$$$$$$ a piece, we're trying to find a cheaper alternative.
We were considering tying completely into the building automation, but I'm definitely going to look into the Kele's sequencer, as we already have 0-10 VDC going to the existing controller.

BTW, my apologies if I make any errors in posting. I'm fairly new to posting on discussion boards. Didn't mean to add a frown on my last post, and I put pricing on the post before when I shouldn't have. :beat:

Dave , give YORKLAND a try on the repair in the GTA area, also a few places in the USA that rebuild them. To buy new YORKLAND in Toronto or Building Controls Connection in Niagara Falls ONT

I also have replaced several of these over the years. I have used both the T775, and the Kele sequencer both work. If I had my choice I would use the sequencer, and 0-10 VDC from DDC controls.
